During those years, we had to melt down the congressional phone lines so amnesty would not pass. That’s just the start. Bush 43 ran as a Conservative but governed center right.
Trump being nominated is largely a refutation of what the Bushes were pushing on us. Bush got some things right; but didn’t go far enough.

If he steps up, it might be to endorse Hillary. Don’t forget the friendship of the Bushes and Clintons. I can’t see him ever endorsing Trump. After all, Trump pretty much ruined the the Bush Family dynasty. He destroyed Jeb!

Yesterday there was footage of George P. Bush telling people to get behind the winner, Trump, and vote for him. He didn’t use the word, “endorse”, but it’s close enough to make his father, uncle, and grandfather look like the feckless weasels they are.
Apparently GP Bush can see the big picture, and he’s wanting a long future in politics.
