I know what you mean. I recently saw a map that showed that this predator normally found in the southwest now roams all over Canada and Alaska. We can thank the enviros for that.

The elimination of wolves a couple of centuries ago is what left room for the coyotes to expand their range so drastically-nature abhors a vacuum, so the coyotes filled the predator gap left by the wolves-and coyotes are more clever, resourceful and adaptable to just about any environment-people certainly are responsible, but it isn’t just the greenies-

Wolves don’t like towns and cities much, either-not so coyotes-for them burbs with dumpsters and outdoor pets are just restaurants that have takeout-bears are like that, too-if we want to live in the animals’ back yard, we need to keep our trash and pets out of reach of their noses-they are opportunists...
