On the other hand- there are plenty of Venezuealans crossing the border into Colombia to acquire food & supplies.

I’m not about to shoot the messenger, I just don’t understand when I see people scrambling in the trash for food or searching through empty stores and yet they look to me as if they are well fed, their clothes don’t look dirty and torn and they appear to be well groomed. Also those standing in line appear to be orderly, I would expect hungry people to be ill tempered and unruly. I’m not drawing any conclusions, I have never been in such a situation but it does not look as I would have imagined.
