Not seeing this reported at all. But I watched Bernie nominate Hillary (gave up his delegate votes to make it unanimous) and then bolt for the exit. Seemed strange to me. He was actually leading a walkout! Media hasn't reported it at all yet.

There's a live stream from a delegate that stayed showing how empty the place is after the Bernie delegates that left hit the exit. Not sure how to add that here.
Now we find out from NBC today that "hundreds" walked out.
That's a pretty HUGE story: hundreds of delegates to a convention walk out in the middle of it.
In fact, had it been the RNC the ABC, NBC, CBS, even Fox would have talked about nothing else the rest of the night. They would have cut away constantly to the rogue delegates protesting outside.
Instead, it was barely covered at all. First real story about it is hours later.

Contrast this with the Trump rally.
One or two people would yell — EVERY camera would pan over. The one protestor would be the only story from the event — where 30,000 people were turning up.
Here, dozens, over a hundred, up to 1800 according to one story delegates to a convention walk out in the middle of it led by their candidate and... crickets.
Bernie got totally boned. Now it turns out the DNC fueled Trump protests, establishment pundits on all sides blamed Bernie and Trump for the violence, and Clinton skates.

Saw that too and quetioned his exit on the first thread about the walkout here. He was already an Independent and should not have been in the hall anyway.

He wanted to get his supporters out of the hall so they would stop booing Hillary. From a protest point of view, it made no sense for them to walk out.
Especially if they hadn’t warmed the medi to cover it when they walked.
