IMHO that is a faithless answer. There are two choices and the question you must ask yourself is which of the two do you think our Creator is more likely to support if we are to continue to hold on to the Liberty and the Republic God gave us. I would say the one who most nearly represents the principles of the Gospel, “by their fruits ye shall know them”. Just look at the offspring of both and draw a comparison.

You are to be commended for educating your children outside the government school system.

IMHO, that is a faithless statement and a false dichotomy. Both of the two major big-government political parties want the great unwashed to believe that.

I sincerely doubt our Creator would choose either of those two for the preservation of the Liberty and the Republic that He gave us. However, I do expect He will more then likely give us one of those two because He gives us the Liberty to choose for ourselves, as a nation, whom we will serve.

I agree with all you said, but one must also take consideration that America is under judgement and the land has been defiled (Lev 18:22-30), and it doesn't really matter to God who is elected. There is no plan B for God. While we believe we have a choice, God is fully in control at all times. It's more a matter of repentance now as what our fate will be.( Luke 17:26-30)

While we should choose the closest thing to God's will we can find, sometimes there just isn't all that much choice.Jesus isn't on our time table. When judgement is decreed, I can't say God will relent. 2 Chron 7:14 is our only hope now, no matter how the vote goes. Voting for Trump would be a beginning, but it still remains up to Christians what happens. Nineveh repented for awhile, but slid back into judgement later.
