He can win this.
Last night, while watching Donald Trumps speech, I realized two things. The first was that the so-called conservative pundit class would hate his address. The second is that this election is now Trumps to lose.
On the first point, I was proven right before the speech even ended. A quick glance at Twitter confirmed that the usual cadre of east coast, RNC faithful, talking heads were trashing Trump. His speech was too dark, or it was negative, or it was fear mongering. Folks like Red States Erick Erickson spent the night comparing Trump to Hitler, while others mocked the candidates appearance mercilessly.
The so-called “conservative pundit class” are paid propagandists of the Cheap Labor Express.
They have been trying for years to get us to give up the rule of law and our country without a fight.
The folks in the white coats need to come after Ericson. Their net needs to be borrowed from a commercial fishing vessel.
“...while others mocked the candidates appearance mercilessly.”
Yes, yes, Hillary Clinton is eye candy.
I keep hearing the MSM saying his speech was dark and negative yet I listened to the whole speech and heard nothing but positive. We are going to do this; we are going to do that; make Ameruca Great Again; removing corruption....how is any of this negative? I guess if you are a leftist progressive and the NWO order is going to be abruptly halted and your proessive destruction stopped I guess Trumps speech migh seem dark or negative. It’s all perspective.
All of their vitriol and general nonsense is getting old. Who listens anymore (if they ever did)?
Most of you guys and gals are all but washed up, and you know it. Time to bring in the younger blood.
Erick who? oh that scumbag who wants Hillary Clinton to win. Well he can just go to a safe space with Yeb! and Mittens.
Erick Erickson—plagiarist? He reportedly tweeted out the old “the speech probably sounded better in its original German”. Hardeehar. Problem is, he did so without attribution to the deceased lefty Molly Ivins who first used it in 1992 against Pat Buchanan. Ericsson can’t even think up his own childish smears, it seems.
Old Saying:
You don’t flak, unless you’re over the target.
(Sad part is, how many Americans even know what “flak” is/was anymore...?)
But you get the point.
"You dont TAKE flak, unless youre over the target.
I remember Lek Valensa and his “Solidarnosk” movement.
Ever since then, the left commandeered the term making it their own.
Whenever I hear someone using “solidarity” now, I recommend a good laxative.
I think that's the point - so many of us used to listen regularly but have turned away from their silly and pointless obstruction. I believe that the only time I ever caught Erick Erickson was when he subbed for Rush but on those few occasions he bored me and I soon enough turned the channel.
Now they offend my sensibilities and I have turned many off for good. This is bad news for them because our support = their earnings. If we tune them out their gigs will quickly dry up and blow away. They need us more than we need them.
It was only negative if you’re a Hillary or Obama supporter.
The thing that gets me is that they’re saying all this “law and order” talk is somehow fascist, reminiscent of Hitler, etc...
My question is simply this: Since when was following the law a bad thing?
I’m sorry, I lack the ability to somehow connect wanting to enforce our laws as written as anything heinous or evil.
Didn’t he throw a very large bone to the GerBiL “community?”
What’s not to like? /sarc
+1
Indeed dark days for an Vampire Elite who regard Up as Down, Good as Evil, Right as Wrong. They've had a license to smother the sunlight, hope, and American Dream for Middle Class as well as ALL America.
Of course this speech was "dark" -- yes, for THEM. The Left's Progs in this case are married to their GOPe Bush-Kasick Elite cousins. No wonder they are allied in opposing Trump.
“The so-called conservative pundit class are paid propagandists of the Cheap Labor Express.”
Ain’t that the truth!I am very sorry I supported lower taxes for wealthy people and corporations. Now I feel they deserve them. If the scum of the country club is going to sell out than they should shell out. All of the money they make from cheap labor should go into taxes. All of the money they should of invested into media but didn’t should go to taxes and since by their own words they are “working with the Democrats to get things done”, than all of the money they are spending should come from their own pocket. They are the dominant political class(the pundits are just their accomplices) in the
GOP and they should be held for their fecklessness, duplicity and their treachery.
More like the “establishment” pundit class.
