You’re right. My first reaction is always too quick.

My emotions run about 15 minutes ahead of my rational thoughts.

The Cruz nutters have been peddling that endorsement LIE about Reagan and Ford to justify that Reniassance Hedge fund Billionaires bag boy’s disgraceful behavior.

Ted and Heidi are Grifters who do the bidding of there WSJ billionaire owners .

One of Reagan's biographers and friend of his wrote in a book that I have, that Reagan did not endorse Ford.

I'd be interested in the site that "debunked that claim."

Do you know who or where I might check it out?

Only a gutless coward would support a man who insulted his wife. I admire Cruz for not caving.

yes he did.. he said “We must go forth from here united, determined that what a great general said a few years ago is true: There is no substitute for victory, Mr. President.”

Respect your sentiment, but since Heidi Cruz made more than her husband for several years as a Goldman Sachs managing director, I consider her the man of the family. Fair game, at that point. Ted is a...wuss. And that’s being polite.

Um, with the entire Republic at stake, and given the fact that Trump said he regretted making the remark?

Give me a break. Ted Cruz' political career in the USA is over. Just read about how he's being received by the donors.

Te entire God d--m Rpublic is at stake, and Ted Cruz wants to sacrifice it because Donald Trump insulted his wife?

I've never heard a more idiotic rationalization in all my life, and, additionally, Ted's comments in the days leading up to his speech seem to indicate that his primary butthurt lies elsewhere. His wife isn't even a significant consideration, and we've seen the evidence of that as well.

I think you have it right. Since Ginsburg, who followed, had it on the teleprompter that Cruz had endorsed. Also, since Trump stood there glaring at him, no doubt because Cruz was a betrayer. Cruz back stabbing to the bitter end.

-- I hope he blows the crowd away tomorrow in his speech. --

Me too. Newt and others have said and alluded to the point that the Trump we see at rallies is an act, and that the man in private is deliberate and serious. People who see Trump through the lens of "The Apprentice" don't know the man, at all. They see the actor, and mistake the act for the person.

Trump of course knows this. Gingrich said Trump has been working on the speech for weeks, that it is part biographical, part policy, and part vision.

Pretty sure he said....

“Americans are pissed because of politicians that break their promises and ignore the will of the public.”

Then he ignored his promise and ignored the will of the public.

Laters Ted. Maybe I’ll get a donut from you when you dump all your remaining shady payoffs into a Dunkin Donuts franchise....

What a sleeze.

-- Carson had a great answer to Megyn when she asked him how he could support Trump after what Trump said about him. --

He did, and beside saying the issue is about the country, or along those lines, he said that whatever Trump said wasn't personal against Carson.

I think Carson has grown through this experience. He gave it the good old college try, it is exhausting, he's decided the political race isn't for him, but he's more determined than ever to use his talents to advance his personal vision of what the country should be.

That isn’t much different than “vote your conscience.” Apparently, though, Reagan was for unity. Cruz did not say. I do not think his conscience would let him endorse Trump for whatever reason, nor am I convinced it was all ego driven. Sure made him persona non grata.

Trump has been choosing surprisingly well. It must be sobering for him to see that he might actually be the president. Praying for his, and his family’s, safety. What great speeches for the most part tonight!

Notice the camera went to Trump for the end of his speech so there’s no footage of him being booed at the end.
