With all the news in recent years of US military gross incompetence of nuclear weapons storage and transfer, and the subsequent sackings, absolutely nothing would surprise me. Nothing.
Been a few deaths of personal associated with the base. One guy fell off the roof of his building. Apparently he was trying to enter his apartment through an open window. Forgot his keys... Quite a few US officers on this base were replaced in past couple years.
