Freepers,

We have heard about "The Monster Vote", and add to that, folks who won't speak about voting for Trump because it could cost them, but what if their are Trump Voters are like the "Broken Glass Republican" and will crawl over broken Glass to vote for him?

Think about this, in regards to Law Enforcement. Via some quick research, and I see we have something like 1.4 million Law Enforcement Officers in America. Now count the Spouses, Siblings, Parents, Inlaws, Kids, Cousins etc that will stand with Law Enforcement as they go in the booth in November, and they will be "Broken Glass Trumpers?".

What would that total number be? 2, 3, 4 Million with all the relatives that will pull the Lever for Trump?

ON Jeff Kuhner's show today live from the Convention ( he is out of WRKO 6880am Boston 12 to 3 ), Jeff noted: He talked to L.E. officers in Boston ( and IN OH ) and TSA agents and they said they are will him ( Jeff ) and told him to tell the folks at the Convention they are all in for Trump.

With all that said, how can we not look at this and see that these folks are not going to just do their Civic Duty, but will do so with gusto as they step in that booth on that day in November.

I will die dragging my carcass across the line to vote for Trump. If that’s what it takes

Remember to cast a Mail-In Ballot as early as possible (just in case you croak before election day) I always do!

I am somewhat suspicious of mail-in ballots because they seem to be too easy to play games with. Having said that, I have advised my son to vote (for Trump)via mail in ballot because he will be in Marine boot camp on election day. I however, am going to the polls.

We already know that the military is about 75% Trump, so this makes sense.

Let me be clear: I started out this election season supporting Ted Cruz and I only did so after Ted renounced his Candian (dual) citizenship.

Then Ted imploded and I started to pay attention to Trump and I only supported Trump late into the primaries.

Now I am strongly supporting the man and I hope to be even more clearly understood that Trump didn’t have my support when this all started: HE EARNED IT.

And, yes, I would crawl on broken glass to get to the polls to vote for him. He’s earned that, too.

LOL, I will this time for sure!!!

After Reagan, my vote was more an anti-Democrat vote rather than an enthusiastic supporter of the Republican candidate.

This time it is like my votes for Reagan in both the 80 & 84 elections, very enthusiastic.

I coined the term "Broken Glass Republican" in 2000.

I will crawl over Broken Glass to elect Donald Trump.

But how many LEOs and family are among the unionized, with the built-in "D" reflex that prevents any vote for a Republican?

LonePalm, Thank you for your contribution! This is by no means a desire to steal you lime-lite etc. It felt like an natural extension of what I learned here on FR, but more so he is running as a Republican but I don't feel like I am one anymore or nor do I think he has a huge allegiance to that brand and that is how I came too "Broken Glass Trumper's" .

I as well will crawl over broken glass to pull the lever for Donald Trump.

Survival vs the "D" letter? Some things are bigger, maybe this time that is a non-starter...

If that happens to a Democrat they still vote (after dying), sometimes even multiple times.

My 98-year-old mother passed away on election day. The night before, she said how glad she was she'd mailed mailed her absentee ballot in early, saying she'd never missed an election and didn't intend to let a broken hip spoil that record.

My wife, not nearly as Conservative as I am, has stated she would crawl naked over broken glass and swim a river of rubbing alcohol to vote against Hillary Clinton..

That is hate!

I could have voted for Nixon in 72 & Ford in 76, but I really wasn't into politics then. I guess living in the Washington D. C. area (both Maryland & Virginia) I just was so turned off by politics to be honest. Everything, and I mean everything is political there. When Reagan was running we of course were coming out of the Carter years, and I absolutely did not want him back in. I had been trying to buy a house, and every time I got close to the down payment amount it wasn't enough because everything was rising so rapidly.

That and my best friend at work convinced me to go register so I could vote for Reagan, but it really did not take much convincing at all. His argument that my not voting negated my right to complain about the government we got. I've never missed a vote, local or nationally, since.
