I know...let's tax the suburbs!

...they already pay our corrupt school & water dept.'s, maybe they'll be stupid enough to subsidize this turkey too!

...and they better...or we'll call them racists!

We’re literally taxing people in Detroit so much that they lose their homes, then asking other taxpayers to pay to knock down those homes. How can we defend this intellectually or morally?

Very obtuse! Are commies going to stop being commies because people are getting kicked out of their homes?

Ask the High Sheriff of Nottingham how he felt about taxing people off of their land or even the Clintons who oversaw the same thing in Arkansas.

"Longtime Detroit radio host Mildred Gaddis broadcast from the event for her show on WCHB-AM 1200, interviewing RTA representatives and taking questions from the audience and social media. Virtually all the questions focused on either service concerns — Would the buses get better in a specific neighborhood? How much will the fares be? — or questions around employment, union representation, economic benefits, choice of contractor and other job-related topics."

Miz Gaddis, ( who I have listen too, a big leftist, but was indispensable listening during the Kawami Kilpatrick scandals, she was hooked up with great info ) has it all wrong IMHO.

Why is she not asking why Auto's are not cheaper?.

Bill Ford in an rapid fire interview a few years back in "Detroit Business" noted 1/2 the cost of each car is to fend of lawsuits and to meet Gov't regulations.

So can a less regulated low content car get down to $9,995?

Miz Gaddis, is all about empowerment and with that said, Where is an internal Detroit effort fill that need?

Where their "Elio"? Why not ask for "waivers" for your citizens?

Can't go that route, so why not a community based "Maker Space" to empower your fellow Detroiter's to build a quasi-kit car that they can afford or own?

But my questions will go unanswered, as she is about a Big Government Solutions...

4.6 billion / 700,000 people is $6571 per person. Give them vouchers to buy Eilo's and let them make up the difference....
