Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg says she doesn't want to think about the possibility of Donald Trump winning the White House, and she predicts the next president "whoever she will be" will have a few appointments to make to the Supreme Court.
In an interview Thursday in her court office, the 83-year-old justice and leader of the court's liberal wing said she presumes Democrat Hillary Clinton will be the next president. Asked what if Republican Donald Trump won instead, she said, "I don't want to think about that possibility, but if it should be, then everything is up for grabs."
That includes the future of the high court itself, on which she is the oldest justice. Two justices, Anthony Kennedy and Stephen Breyer, are in their late 70s.
"It's likely that the next president, whoever she will be, will have a few appointments to make," Ginsburg said, smiling....

Her life’s work will go out the window.
Are you sure she is really alive? She looks like the walking dead.
I never wanted to envision the elitist Ginsburg on the Supreme Court either. That didn’t work out for me, so this twit can just deal.
Since she broached the subject first, let’s hope this shriveled leftist prune croaks on November 9, after she’s had a day to contemplate a Trump victory
That is Standard Operating Procedure with country club republicans. McCain & Romney never said boo about Obama’s Muslim proclivities.
Yes, but Poppy NWO Bush still kept the Presidency in the "family."
Poppy sandbagged an election he should have won in a landslide. He handed 8 years to Bubba (refusing to vet all his criminality), while his other "son," Dubya, handed another 8 years to Zero (again, refusing to vet an obvious subversive who has screwed us.)
And now ALL Bushes support Hillary.
Pitiful or not, people would like Mrs. Ruth if they knew who she was. People in the USA are easily fooled time and time again.
Ruth Buzzy thinks the South African constitution is far superior to ours. But she just won’t die.
That the entire Bush cabal NEVER criticized a Muzzie Communitah Organizer who FUBARed the USA for 7+ years told us all we needed to know about the Bushes, Romney, McCain, etal.
How about spending more time with the familia, Judge Ginsburg? Exit, stage (radical) left.
So she knew her time was coming to an end on the Supreme Court, why didn’t she step down last year to make room for some new blood?
This is appalling. Supreme Court Justices are supposed to be apolitical.
Well, what I “envision” for Ginsberg involves a sealed crypt.
I truly do not understand how a person gets to be that age, yet still clings to liberal dogma. It must take a profound level of willful ignorance to stay on that plantation.
“It’s likely that the next president, whoever she will be, will have a few appointments to make,” Ginsburg said, smiling....”
Oh how clever, she made a funny.
These sh**heads are nothing but politicians in black robes.
Sotomayor and Kagan are cookie cutter versions of Ginsberg. They will vote for anything that destroys the Constitution and Americans liberties.
Proving once again that Ginsberg is a senile hag without ethics. She has broken the golden rule of judges and justices—keep your ass out of politics.
Of course, we know the rules are for little people, not Hillary and her friends.
What the HELL gives her the RIGHT to Comment on anything a MAN DOES?? She doesn’t have the necessary genitalia to even begin to understand Men’s Issues.
As a side note to this thread, please consider the following.
The Constitution requires a 2/3 supermajority vote from the Senate in order to remove from office a House-impeached, institutionally indoctrinated, state sovereignty-ignoring justice like Justice Ginsburg.
The problem is that even after three election cycles after Obama was elected, enough election cycles to have replaced every member of the Senate by now, patriots have won only a meaningless simple majority of the Senate, the Republican majority actually a RINO majority.
“”It’s likely that the next president, whoever she will be, will have a few appointments to make,” Ginsburg said, smiling....”
I guess when they talk about check and balances, they are referring to the payoffs from the Clinton Foundation.
