I was thinking of that exact quote from Gatsby this morning, but in realtion to a personal
friend of mine, a bundler for Obama, who just reacts to the email stuff with a shrug,
saying the only think that would make him vote for Hillary is Trump. Like the narrator
says regarding the folks of East & West Egg, they just retreat into their wealth, their insulation.

I’d like to hear more about this from someone coherent and not a so-called SJW. On what basis could anyone sane say such a thing? On what characteristic or metric is Hillary better than Trump - on anything ? for any point of view?
