We heard this same kind of Chicken Little stuff during the primaries too. We heard how Trump "has no ground game" and all last summer and fall we heard about how Trump was going to get his "comeuppance" once the people started voting because Trump could not possibly survive the negative campaigning that was coming his way. We heard about how Trump just did not have an answer for the establishment political apparatus to be arrayed against him. As recently as two months ago, people were saying that Ted Cruz had completely outmaneuvered Trump in the delegate selection process is that he (Cruz) was setting himself up for an easy nomination victory as it was "impossible" for Trump to get to the 1,237 he needed on the first ballot.
One thing that has been established over the past year - the anti-Trump people have been proven to be consistently wrong. Over and over and over again.

Don’t forget ‘92.
A third party nutball with NO “ground game” who was in the race...out of the race...and then back in the race, garnered 19% of the vote!
The only “ground game” Trump needs is poll watchers with attys. at consistantly late reporting, overwhelmingly RAT voting polling places in swing states.

Excellent post.
I was thinking the same thing while reading the article - haven’t I heard this exact same thing before?
