Slambat, it isn’t selling out. What you don’t understand is that people have lost confidence in “conservatives” who haven’t actually achieved anything to reverse America’s course to socialism (or worse). People want a proven disrupter - a shock to the system.
TV “conservatives” had their chance - for years that included full control of all branches. It’s time for something new.
I’m guessing Trump wasn’t anyone’s first choice around here, but he does represent a real choice from the Republicrat Demublican Uniparty track we’ve been on for decades since Reagan.
Don’t kid yourself, pal. We’ve had plenty of debate, and the problem with people like you is you don’t know what it looks like when you lose, so when you do lose you continue to harp on the same things and blame imaginary character flaws for others not agreeing with you.
Normally, I don’t harp on things like spelling and grammar, but your inability to see the difference between “your” and “you’re” is a subtle demonstration you don’t care about relevant details as long as you get you get to say your piece.
