2016 America’s Gift To Hillary - The Oval Office!
Canada Free Press ^ | 05/04/16 | Dave Merrick

Completely disjointed and impotent conservatives

America is going to have a Democrat - specifically Hilary Clinton - for its next president. I sincerely hope I’m wrong about this one - but I’m not. What follows is why and embarrassingly devoid of anything close to rocket science. Four years ago the right caved. And it’s going to keep happening because none of what caused it last time has changed.

The self-consumed GOP doesn’t behave as though they understand the challenges they really face regarding capturing public support. Most of the problem is how they are perceived - and that is worsened by their appearing not to care about it. That’s arrogance. (Proverbs 16:18)

Relying on an illness is not the kind of thing we can bank on. If the Republicans cannot unite around Trump, the USA is finished and I mean down the tubes.
The Russians, Chinese, North Koreans, Iranians, Syrians, and ALL of America’s enemies know this.

We can thank the GOP itself for making the world a lot more violent than it is now...

Yes, you are wrong, and no, you don't hope that you are.

You are a stupid, arrogant, navel gazer.

I like how, even after all his wins, people still count Trump out. The Trump train is rolling and HRC is on the tracks.

NONSENSE! This time it’s DIFFERENT! You would have had us nominate ANOTHER loser.

When are you going to wake up and realize that far right conservatives are not a majority, not even close. Without joining a coalition they will NEVER rule.

Conservatives have fallen (myself included), for the siren song of Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, and Glenn Beck. Their song is that only “ROCK RIBBED” conservatives can win the presidency.

The polls, I mean the actual polls where people actually vote, have shown that not to be the case. They now show that a flawed “Populist/Conservative” candidate has a real shot at putting a Republican back in the white house at a CRUCIAL time in our history.

Ted Cruz, the supposed most “conservative” candidate in the race, (certainly according to himself), came in 2ND. We all know that 2ND place, is the first loser. While Cruz was a “distant” 2ND, he still beat 15 other candidates. Not nothing. Rock Ribbed, far right, conservatives forming a coalition with the populist/conservatives is a WINNING combination.

We NEED the “not quite as conservative”, “independents”, and “persuaded Democrats”, to join with ALL Republicans in order to win this election. Anything less or the same old same old, and we will LOSE!

Trump is the RIGHT person “at this time” to SAVE our country from absolute destruction.

Agree. To reverse the pendulum you first have to stop its leftward swing. Now we work to make it swing Right.

It is time we stopped supporting “conservatives” and started supporting “Americans.”

For the past six years we have voted for conservatives, we have a majority in the House and Senate, in our Governorships and state positions.

How has that worked out? They run as “conservatives” and things continue to get worse. Conservative doesn’t mean anything anymore, it’s a con job.

If that happens, you can thank the “NeverTrump” crowd.

Nope, you can blame Trump's "mob" that looks just like the liberal's "mob" of slash and burn anything (and anybody) that doesn't agree with their "collective" mind meld, which gave the rest of us a clear example of what a Trump Presidency would look like.

If the Dems get the White House, it's all on the shoulders of the "OnlyTrump" crowd, who wanted a man who was "popular" because he's rich and trash talks his opponents... just like a lefty does.......so now they can take responsibility for their choice.

I will show up to vote against the Dems, but I'm not sure there's much difference in the Republican candidate and the Democrat candidate this year.

I honestly hope I'm wrong..................

Pay VERY close attention to whom the Democrats appoint as Hillary’s running mate. THAT person will be the next President. Whether through Ill health, Indictment, or Impeachment after election, Hillary will not serve and her VP will take over.

That is the person Trump is running against.

I am strongly aligned with Trumps economic and immigration policies. And I love his anti-PC way of speaking.

However, I am concerned that a number of principled conservatives will stay home and not vote this cycle.

There is real fear that Trump will not support people like the Christian bakers who got fined for not baking a Gay Wedding cake.

There is real fear that Trump, who supported the assault weapon ban, will not support full second amendment rights.

There is real fear that Trump, who is a social liberal, will appoint Supreme Court Justices that will truly re-write the constitution.

I will be watching the convention with great interest. If Trump makes a serious attempt to assuage these fears, and addresses the conservative half of the party with how he is going to protect them and their way of life, I will happily pull the lever for the guy this November.

But if he decides that, screw the conservatives, we don’t need them....well, I’ll be staying home on election day to clean my guns.

There are plenty of differences. First and foremost, the Supreme Court. Hillary would stack it with left wing agenda types. Secondly, she will fight to take away our rights to own handguns. Those two things are reason enough to vote against her.

I gladly voted for Cruz in the primary and would do it all over again. But now it’s time to fight against the Clinton machine by whatever means are necessary.

Oh goody Canadians telling us folks south of the border what we will do in the future.

Pretty funny since they just elected a socialist and Canada and America seem to vote in opposite parties. Conservatives were in office during O’s admin and now they have Justin

Ah when Trump wins these are the same folks who will say “I don’t see how this could happen. I don’t know anyone who voted for him”

Same things happened when Nixon was elected and Reagan was elected

She just does not look healthy enough to keep this up....and things will now get worse for her.

Watch her blood pressure skyrocket when Trump starts speaking truthfully about her, without pulling punches.

Look at the Republicans in the last few presidential elections (that I have been able to vote in, anyway).

Reagan
Reagan
Bush
Bush
Dole
W
W
McCain
Romney
Trump

Reagan, W, And Bush won and they were more conservative than Dole, McCain, Romney and Trump.
Bush lost his 2nd bid due to the Perot effect (Clinton got under 50% of the vote). Also, he backed away from his Conservatism with the “no new taxes” deal.

Frankly, I hate to say this, but Hillary will win, mostly because Trump has been painted as anti-woman, and women make up more than 1/2 of the electorate.

After Trump has scorched Earth everyone who even made the slightest comment against him, it will be difficult, and maybe impossible, to rebuild those bridges he has burned.

Even if he accomplishes that, Hillary will still have the “historic” women thing in her favor.

Fire away at me if you want, folks, but we may have selected the candidate least likely to win over women voters out of all 17 of the Republicans who ran for the nomination.

Everyone wanted the house to be burned down, but now there is no house standing to welcome in the coalition needed to win. Better call the carpenters in, and fast.
