Sitting out for Romney made sense in a lot of ways, regardless of whether we get 4 more years of a Democrat.

I’ll have to respectfully disagree. This administration has been a disaster. Would Romney have been any better? I don’t know, but I’d like to think so.

Cutting off your nose to spite your face is not an answer. Plus, as we can now see, the GOPe did NOT learn a darn thing by that. They’re worse now than before the 2012 election. They only thing that might - and I stress the “might” - get their attention is for Trump to get the 1237 and then some. This Cruz supporter hopes he does because a contested convention would fracture the party so badly that a chance for a conservative to win the White House would be at least a decade away. By then it will be too late, I fear.

We have to either get rid of the Republican party and its apparatchik in its current form or we can never get anything else done.

The GOPe can either make this hard or easy. It seems that they have chosen to make this hard. So be it.
