I’ve been trying and trying to use my “white privilege” but so far I’ve been out of luck. I went to a restaurant last night and asked if they gave “white privilege” discounts and just got a strange look and a No... Then I called my mortgage company and asked if they could refinance my loan to a lower interest rate, they said that neither my income or credit score had changed so probably not, I told them I had forgot to mention I was entitled to “white privilege rates” on my original application, they said they didn’t know what that was but it didn’t impact mortgage terms.
Maybe somebody can help me out? I’ve just recently learned from the media that there is such a thing as “white privilege”. I’m 41 and I’ve failed to take advantage of this privilege for my entire life? But now I can’t figure out how to use it!

There is NO white privilege.
Whites going into a white neighborhood. Treated the same as anyone. Whites going into a black neighborhood. Stared at. Taken advantage of. Talked about behind their back but still noticeable. At best.
Blacks going into a white neighborhood. Mostly treated the same as long as behavior is the same. Some patronization. Blacks going into a black neighborhood. Treated the same.
There is no white privilege.
If a person of any race is dignified and polite, they have a behavior privilege. This behavior privilege has to be accounted for in determining racial privilege as demeanor has a very large effect on treatment.
