Because people have faith that voting leads to repersentives who represent our winning votes. This belief is what makes republican government work. If you delink them, then voting becomes pointless and the republic dies.

So you win Missouri by two-tenths of one percent and you end up with 67% more delegates. This is disgusting and disturbing.

At least people voted in Florida

To gain delegates without votes is unethical.

If you can’t understand the difference I can’t explain it to you

So you win the Northern Mariana Islands, which has about five people in it and can’t even vote in November, and you win nine delegates out of it. This is disgusting and disturbing.

Guess I just have a problem with dishonesty, no matter where it is.

-who was dishonest?....the only person dishonest is trump. He knows he didn’t do his job. He knows this is all just bs to rile up his followers to change the narrative.

If trump had been competent and won the delegates you people would be saying he is brilliant and savvy.

The point being, the rules for awarding delegates vary from state to state. Sometimes that works for my guy, sometimes that works for your guy. Everybody knew—or could know—the rules ahead of time and plan accordingly. Failure to plan on your part is not “stealing” on my part. Oh, well. Get over it. Stop whining.

I live in a close to 100% GOP area. These guys are so crooked it is beyond the pale. The establishment needs to be destroyed, and conservative values restored. Pay for play is the game here. It needs to end at the city, county and state level as well as that huge federal leech.

See? Works both ways. Stop whining.

I am sorry, but when a ballot looks like this:

_ Donald Trump
_ Ted Cruz
_ John Kasich

But the vote is counted like this:

_ Cruz Delegate
_ Cruz Delegate
_ Cruz Delegate

That is quite a bit different than a state deciding to do winner take all.

This is an obvious universal moral difference that is only possible to deny in the special case of one rationalizing the cheating of voters by those who assign delegates because it favors a losing candidate they want to see win.

What Cruz supporters call "whining" is has given Trump a bump. The question is, can the delegate assignment corruption be applied in enough cases to counter this bump? It will be interesting to see the race between cheating and outrage at the cheating. I am rooting for the outrage winning.

If you believe voting leads to good representation, then you’ve been hoodwinked by the media and Trump. It’s not in the cards until the constitution is changed. Good luck with that too.

“Consequentialism”: the end justifies the means.
Or,
“Quitcherbitchin’ and hand over your wallet!”
That’s a branch of ethics comparable to utilitarianism, which some have described as fit for swine.

I have come to think of thugs when I hear the resident Cruzlims say, “Your guy doesn’t know how to convince (cozen) delegates.”
IOW, Trump doesn’t have the support of the GOP-e.

Remember them? Those terrible people that “outsider” Cruz locked-horns with, until he figured he couldn’t win without them?

Trump, a Big Apple businessman who has swum in that shark milieu for about 40-50 years, despises politicians, and for good reason.

For the same reasons we non-Cruz conservatives hate being told by smirking GOP-ers that it’s raining: “Them’s the rules, stop whining.” when we know the establishment GOP along with their ringer Cruz are p***ing down our legs.
