Foolish Gun Owners HELP Government with Illegal Gun Registration Scheme
The Coach's Team ^ | 4/16/16 | Doug Book

Published a year ago on “Coach is Right,” this is a story which bears repeating

The left will do anything to abolish the private ownership of firearms. And the emphasis is on anything. After all, politicians cannot safely exercise absolute, uncontested authority over an armed public. And the majority of our nation’s ruling class--yes, Republicans included--yearn for such power; in part because it will bring an end to those annoying constitutional rights which prevent lawmakers implementing what they “know to be best,” but mostly because these self-infatuated mirror-gazers believe dictatorial authority to be their due.

The question is, how can it be accomplished? How can more than 300 million firearms be separated from an estimated 100 million owners?

With some it will be easy. When Connecticut passed into law its knee-jerk response to the 2012, Newtown murders, some 50,000 “Assault Weapon” owners dashed to the nearest police station, eager to be among the first to sign away their freedom by registering their rifles with Governor Malloy. Courageous custodians of liberty such as these will be a snap to deal with when it comes time to confiscate their-or more properly, the State’s-property.

But what of the estimated 300,000-400,000 Constitution State owners of black rifles who refuse to play toadie to a would-be monarch? How can Big Brother intimidate these or other American gun owners—for example the estimated 1 million New Yorkers who have defied the state’s Safe Act-- into registering their firearms so that the coming end-game of confiscation might be facilitated? Isn’t the outright use of force likely to result in that shooting war we’ve heard so much about?

Well, not if a majority of Americans follow the example set by “Assault Weapon” owners in Maryland and Virginia.

During the 2002 killing spree by the “D.C. Snipers,” police recovered .223...

No, no earthworms allowed. They might be closer domestic terrorists.

In states with mandatory registration you’re better off building your own, via PCR-80’s. No serial, no 4473.

You can’t be found guilty of stealing from yourself.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

That may be true. However, if one files a report as discussed, those serial numbers are recorded as stolen. So when you are harassed by the cops, and they see that you are in possession of stolen firearms, you're going for a ride. And can expect a lot of unpleasantness between that time and when you can try out the defense that you mentioned. Then more unpleasntness while explaining why you haven't stolen from yourself.

Since it is proven that federales cannot find islamists

You presume that they WANT to find them.

YOU, they can find. Bet your life on it.

Hi,
When doing a private purchase, how does one confirm that the firearm one is purchasing is not stolen? (Legit question - I don’t know an answer.)

That was my thought too. Everyone with black rifles make trades with others. Confuse ownership so much no one knows who has what. Make bills of sale on each trade to make it look like a sale.

I've only bought from or sold to people I know. I know these folks legitimately owned the firearms, and they know mine are legitimate.

Truly, there is no way to know 100%, unless you do the transaction with a dealer, but that defeats the purpose.

I was not placing any particular genre of firearm in the mix, except ALL of them, from Bond Arms derringers to Barrett fifty cals.

Here in swampy Louisiana, the ONLY record of sale, by state law, is the motherloving federal NICS paper. NO bill of sale required, NO transfer of ownership, NO hand me down documents, either.

You can still built an AR from a “kit”.

It is still being done. I don’t care much for .223 rifles. Shoot and reload a little heavier stuff.

I have not bought a new rifle or pistol through this, but I doubled down on my reloading equipment and components about 3 years ago.

unfortunately, many states are very very strict on when you are allowed to use a gun legally- they allow you to own one, but by golly just don’t try using it for self defense-

There was a report after Joe Biden told women all they needed to do to scare off criminals was fire a single barrel shotgun into the air- a man did just that- sending a thief running down the driveway- the man who shot defending his home was arrested - probably for discharging a weapon near homes or some such nonsense- Maybe even for menacing with a deadly weapon- can’t remember now what he was charged with- but i recall the woudl be criminal filing charges agaisnt the man— don’t know whatever became of that incident

Had this been 20 years ago- the police would have high-fived the man who shot, and buried the report by the would be criminal
