Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump listed a few of his fellow 2016 rivals as possible running mates in an interview published Monday.

Speaking to columnist Kirsten Powers, Trump spoke favorably about Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) who he famously feuded with before defeating him in his home state....

“There are people I have in mind in terms of vice president. I just haven’t told anybody names,” he said. “[I] do like Marco. I do like (John) Kasich. … I like (Scott) Walker actually in a lot of ways. I hit him very hard. … But I’ve always liked him.”

I've been saying all along that Rubio and Kasich would be on Trump's shortlist for VP.

There’s a difference in LIKE and RESPECT, and the later is very questionable for any three of them...

Maybe Walker or Cruz (common guys, kiss and make up). Not Rubio or Kasich.

Trump VP - think POTUS in eight years.

Maybe Walker or Cruz (common guys, kiss and make up). Not Rubio or Kasich.

Walker is obviously a better conservative. As much as I dislike Kasich (relative to Rubio), Kasich would make it more likely for Trump to win in November, than Rubio, who couldn’t even take his home state.

“Marco and John. You guys really suck. And I beat you like a drum. But just to show you how great I am - I’ll let one of you be my veep. As well as carry my luggage to the plane. Got it?”

Rubio would bring the most to the conservatives as Trump's VP.

He would draw the Spanish/Hispanic vote and then after 8 years of Trump, he would have matured enough to strike a JFK like statue to the then majority Hispanic voters.

Scott Walker would be a great pick. And I remember Penney-Kasich; Kasich goes way back, he has earned consideration. Marco is not natural born, no thanks.

Rubio is a whore. He whored himself to the Tea Party originally just to get power, then whored himself to the establishment. He may whore himself to Trump, which I support if it helps Trump win, but let us not forget that he is just a filthy whore.

And there it is. A liberal rino is Trump’s first, second and third choices. Certain to bring cheers at this “conservative” forum.

But, its business. If one of them as VP means winning vs losing it becomes an easy choice. He has to win.

Kasich?

I understand we need Ohio, but does everyone have to kiss the ring of that retard? He is insufferable and is nothing more than a democrat masquerading as a Republican. Trump needs to run fast and run far from this dirtbag.

If he gets to 1237 before Cleveland, July 18, he will choose who he wants. I want Sarah Palin because with that single move he will kill most of the left in this country. Their heads will explode. Remember, this is War. Sun Tzu. .

That's why I have said Trump/Schumer 2016 ticket for so long. He gets New York. He gets more Jewish votes. He siphons away many "conservative' democrat votes from Hillary. He is a true insider that can cut deals and make great deals with the democrats that will be in power in Congress. He helps Trump to win. And he won't siphon away hardly any of trump's current supporters. Very few anyway. They just want to win and stick it to the republicans.

“Lyin’ Ted” (Trump’s characterization, not mine)? Won’t happen unless there’s contested convention and it becomes absolutely necessary.

Hmm - interesing idea. I mean other than succession, what does it matter who is VP? Look at Biden.

I see this election as being important enought hat unconventional warfare is requrired. If Trump can’t win we’re going to be screwed anyway so the Trump fans might as well vote for Bernie and hasten the demise.

Kasich last evening told Anderson Cooper, he is running for President and he does NOT want VP...

So let Kasich have his way and send him back to Ohio to finished the job there...then he is old enough to collect social security and his fancy government retirement...the end is in sight for Kasich...
