MLB controls the rights to the games. The online stream of the station won’t have the game on. I think the same thing happens with football. For $20 and the MLB at Bat app you can get all the baseball games you want streamed with the radio telecast. I subscribe to the MLB.tv also, and can watch any baseball game I want (except the National games on ESPN or Fox). Luckily I don’t get locally blacked out either.

This is precisely what doesn't make any sense! What's the difference between listening to a radio station on a radio set and listening to that same station online??? Is it a geographical thing?

Sirius XM satellite radio has all
teams,all games and can be heard as
a smartphone app,in your car etc.
They offer streaming only so
you don’t need to buy a radio.
