Those manufactured IN the USA wouldn’t be subject to an IMPORT tariff...They are ALREADY here....

It pushes companies to return to the US and it also encourages companies to resume making goods in the US....

A better way to start improving business in NY would be to get Albany’s boot off the throats of the producers.

Trillions of dollars in debt and abnormal trade imbalances. But hey, we got tons of Starbucks though.

We certainly shouldn’t give companies tax advantage for locating overseas.

We already have 1,200 tariffs on various products coming into this country. I’m sure lots more would be just great.... Something else for us consumers to pay for.

Consumers, (that’s us) always end up paying every penny of the tariffs through higher prices. Why doesn’t Trump seem to know this?

Oh, he knows it quite well. Trump is a flim flam man, but he is not a dummy.

He also knows that the voters don't know it.

As demonstrated by most of the posts on this thread.

But “terrific tariffs” are like “terrible tracers.” They work both ways

I don’t think consumers pay tariffs not companies.

There's a difference between tactics and strategy. Thing 3D not 2D. Read Scott Adams on Trump Persuasion Series.

Manufacturing job loss in New York State is due to 50 years of liberal government policies.

I don't care if the Trumpster puts a 100% tariff on foreign goods, it'll still be cheaper to locate a plant in Texas or Tennessee than in New York.

But people will still believe in the "magic" of tariffs. All the while not understanding that we, the consumers ultimately pay them.

It is the threat of tarriffs from a serious President who understands trade and is not bound by special interests and lobbyists to actually implement them that will do the trick

Like Koolaid? Trump is the biggest special interest/lobbyist lover in the race. He's so establisment "playing the game" than anyone. His only answer? "You have to as a businessman to get deals done" is BS. Only insiders play that game.

Good luck when the crow comes to dinner.
