TRUMP: Corporate Tax Will Pay for TrumpCare RONALD REAGAN: 'Deliberately Dishonest'
Reaganite Republican ^ | 11 April 2016 | Reaganite Republican

Trump 2012 on how we'll be paying for his massive,
far-to-the-left-of-Obama, BIG-government HC plan:

But much like the Mexicans 'paying for the wall', all such taxes and levies will eventually fall in the lap of the American consumer
-there's no such thing as a free ride, as some confidence trickster might propose to you.

The Gipper knew that better than anybody... a lesson lost on much of today's detached-from-logic 'alt/right' conservatives:
'The most dangerous myth is the demagoguery that business can be made to pay a larger share, thus relieving the individual.

Politicians preaching this are either deliberately dishonest, or economically illiterate, and either one should scare us...
Only people pay taxes, and people pay as consumers every tax that is assessed against a business.'
And of course any such tax would be a disaster for jobs right from the start- the United States already has the highest corporate taxes on Earth

Taxes should only pay for essentials. That’s defense, police, fire. Bill it to the corporations. That should lower corporate taxes drastically. Income taxes should cover ALL the redistributive stuff at a flat rate for EVERYBODY. That way everyone has skin in the game. Taxes can be gathered and EACH year congress can decide on a minimum income for those that put in 40 hrs/wk PROVABLE. Who would argue for the highest wage? Depends on how many Departments eliminated. Give the people more money and they will cut gub’ment at the knees.

If only taxes were the biggest impact affecting the cost of everything, regulations are bigger impacts to the economy.

What if someone can’t pay? In a purely capitalist scenario, that person would be SOL. and since healthcare costs a fortune, and our economy sucks, there’s going to be a lot of people SOL. And am I supposed to just look at a dying person and not render aid because they can’t pay?

Trump IS NOT a conservative by any stretch. He is a populist, using the rage of the past 20 years because of feckless GOP and rat politicians to his advantage.

You do see Trump’s quotes in the article, right? Why are Trump’s words always called lying about Trump by his supporters?

The root of the problem is Trump doesn’t say what Trump’s website does. And you are content to believe the website over the man.

In a purely capitalist system, people can and will make charitable contributions to causes they believe in, like organizations that help cover medical costs for those without insurance.

You have bought into the liberal lie that charity must be forced by the government.

With Trump, you might want to look for time as well as date.

So, if I am understanding you correctly, you think that any statement made at any time prior to now is still the position of that candidate.

Is that correct?

What he says in speeches or puts on his website doesn’t matter to the Cruzbots. Trump gives no “specifics,” and he’s a socialist.

Cruz started the bald-faced lying about Trump’s positions, it seemed to me, in January.

There's a lot of that going around here.

Wow you have a flair for the dramatic. If you were trying to make a logical point, I don’t think anybody will get it.

I’m reading this as an actual quote from Trump, of course this is before he started running for president so I guess the only truth is on his website?
