He remembers everything he hears or he has said. ...It's like an Audio Graphic File which he can bring up at anytime....similar to photogenic memory.... He remembers the inflections of everything..... In the sixth grade he memorized the entire Constitution.
Imagine how convenient to have your own “head library and media storage” for anything you want to recall! This is why if you observe him when others are speaking he listens well, and not only that but if you interrupt him he stops talking so as not to loose what the content is of what your saying.....he did that with Trump at the debates if you look back...he has everything Trup has said that's significant to him to store...in his head to draw on....

Yes I did- hence the quotes from movies- I have a partial photographic memory- I can recall things I’ve read years ago by seeing a visual image of the page and paragraph of the book it was in but it would be cool to have audiographic memory too-

Teddy did the memory trick once, JUST ONCE, in just ONE debate, and it had NOTHING at all to do with replying to Trump, but rather to the moderators and looking back at it, it was more like he had memorized it all PRIOR to the debate....as though he had prior knowledge of the questions to be asked of the candidates.
Like what his home state is.....guess his memory hit a speed bump
