After a lifetime of work, today this could have been accomplished in months and I suspect the government back then could have done it much more efficiently as well.
I suspect it was cathartic for this man, over his wifes death, then became a mission. Congratulations to this determined man. Never said if anyone finally came to help him...hmmm
