Cruz has been a strong second for me all along, but he’s starting to lose me. What does he represent other than tearing down the frontrunner? He seriously needs to focus on that.

Even worse than tearing down the frontrunner, he’s thwarting the will of the American voters. This democracy/republic cannot survive if We The People are excluded from choosing our leaders.

I've been careful not to criticize Cruz, but this caused me to do a 180.

I've always shut up and pulled the "R" lever even though I didn't like our candidate. I did it with Romney. Did it with Bush 2.

But loyalty is a two way street. I thought Cruz was different and though he wasn't my first choice, I believed he was decent. I've even defended him to friends who despise him because I thought he was a good guy. I knew I would vote for him if he was the Republican nominee.

I no longer believe that. In fact, I knew that he has more Bushies behind him than just Neil, but thought it wasn't a big deal. I wouldn't have been bothered by it, but today changed my opinion. This event showed me who he really is. Believe me, I take no pleasure in this.
