You're right Bernie. I didn't live in a ghetto. I heated the shack I lived in with wood (scrap lumber) through one of the worst North Dakota winters in the last 50 years. I didn't have running water, and to make coffee in the morning I had to chip the ice out of the bucket and thaw it on the stove first. I used an outhouse. I cooked the deer I ate over an open fire. There was no welfare for me, and 'food stamps' was the nickname for a cheap pawnshop rifle.

Tell me all about 'poor', Bernie. I just don't get it.

Poor whites don't drive new Escalades.
