“Please! The smarmy Republican leadership has been trying to increase the tent with illegal aliens and terrorists and your complaining about Trump not being a “real” Republican. Wow, just wow.”

The post was about the stupidity of his legal threats. Funny you would pull off into a side rail. Nice job. Copy that screed from DU? seems kind of sensitive about the legitimacy of a REAL republican who just finished, once again, to thinnk Planned Parenthood “did good stuff.” Not worth arguing after that.

He is better than Republican who says Planned Parenthood is evil and then does nothing but take bribes for doing nothing. I’d rather have Trump looking out for me on seven out of 10 issues than ZERO out of 10.

You say you admire ask, you say you like ask, but everything you do ensures that X never gets done because you been played.

Donald Trump registered as a Republican for the first time as a 41 year old in 1987. We know from his own recounting that he grew up (or, at least, got older) as a Democrat. Twelve years later, in 1999, Trump walked away from the GOP to run as a candidate for the Independence Party. Then in 2001 his liberal sensibilities (remember he was still pro-choice, anti-gun and for higher taxes in 2001) drove him to register as a Democrat. It was not until 2009 that Trump changed his mind again. Donald Trump was a Democrat as recently as 2009. Trump registered as a Republican once again. However, Trump left the GOP again in 2011, registering instead as an independent before returning to the GOP again in April of 2012.

So, I think his name should be written as

Donald Trump (D, R, I, D, R, I, R - NEW YORK)
