Why NH Should Vote for Ted Cruz and not Donald Trump
Granite Grok ^ | February 7, 2016 | Steve MacDonald

Posted on 02/08/2016 6:27:11 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

Ted Cruz knows that you are the best hope for saving America. But to do that you need a president willing to get the government out of the way so that you can.

"... just like the left, Donald Trump's solutions are all built on the "smarts" of certain gifted people and then empowering those people to navigate the world for the masses. By contrast Ted Cruz' campaign is built on the strength of a set of ideas, where rights, power and responsibility belong to every citizen, not just the gifted few. This is the self-governing model our nation was founded upon, which produced the most free and prosperous nation in history.

America does not merely need "smart" people to try to run our unworkable government and guide every aspect of our lives; America needs to return to smart ideas. A great step in that direction would be teaming up with Ted Cruz who, more than any other candidate still running, has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to limiting government corruption the only way possible - limiting government. Unlike most candidates this election, Ted Cruz has never promised to be the savior of America, rather he always points to the ideas that made America." . . . unless that Republican Presidential candidate happens to be a Democrat.

But, if we conservatives stick together, that's not going to happen this time around. Is it???

Are you saying wealth is inherently evil?

State your case, but don’t go there. You’re smarter than that.

Romney does not have the personality to resonate with people.

I’ll take the smart people who can develop solutions to our economic and other problems over the junior senator’s “ideas”. Especially since those smart people don’t just talk like politicians, they’re actually success stories.

Old news. Trump looks really young. You would not want to know what I did in my young years in Chicago, for the democrat machine. How do you think JFK won Illinois?

I switched to GOP at age 32.

Trump speaks at a 4th grade level.

Isn't it wonderful that a 4th grader could be a multi billionaire.

Quite the opposite. He pointed out that Cruz had wealthy donors, I argued that not only personally wealthy individuals should be able to run for office.

He’s the reason you were guaranteed your 2nd Amendment rights via the Supreme Court. Name something similar Trump has achieved...

With a 60% disapproval rate, I don’t see Trump winning the GOP nomination.

Indeed you would as leftist always have trusted central planning over individual innovation.

Cruz understands constitutional principles and allowing FREE AMERICANS develop solutions in many cases one never anticipated by society at large including the self anointed smartest people.

Try reading Hayek and Friedman instead of art of the deal. Or perhaps Vision of the Anointed by Sowell about the limitations of the really smart guys trying to solve everyone problems.

I don’t see a 60% disapproval rate. I see the leading approval rate nationwide!
