You might give him a knife if he'd like one.

One of my grandsons is 14, not a scout, but a knife collector. He appreciated my giving him my original Boy Scout Knife from 60 years ago.

Couldn't find one online, but here's a nice looking knife at amazon at a reasonable price:12" overall, 7" blade.

Was your BSA knife a Case?

Looks a lot like my old one of about same vintage. (not BSA)
Still holds a razor edge well.

I still have my Boy Scout sheath knife from 1967. The knife is about the same as in your picture, but the sheath is slightly different, narrower and with a retention strap near the pommel. I’d pass it down, but none of my younger male relatives is in the Scouts, nor a knife collector. It’ll probably be sold for a pittance from my estate (such as that is) when the time comes.
