Cruz Uses Carter's Words in Anti-Trump Ad
Breitbart ^ | 02/04/2016 | Michelle Fields

Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% used former President Jimmy Carter’s words to bash Donald Trump in a new ad.

Cruz’s new ad uses a clip of former President Jimmy Carter telling the British Parliament that he would rather have Trump as president than Cruz.

“Trump has proven already that he’s completely malleable,” Carter says. “I don’t think he has any fixed opinions that he would really go to the White House and fight for.”

The ad then touts Carter’s assessment of Cruz.

“Ted Cruz is not malleable,” Carter says. “He has far right-wing policies, in my opinion, that would be pursued aggressively if and when he would become president.”

NOTE THE WORD "MALLEABLE." Describes Trump perfectly.

When I heard about Carter, the first thing I thought was “don’t throw me in the briar patch”.

Trump has the highest negatives in Gallup polling history. He can’t win in any general election.

Trump should use Cruz’s “I <3 Dictators” in an ad.

We’ll see I guess. I think he has demographics that Cruz can’t even dream of.

I thought we were supposed to support the candidate that would do anything to win

I never felt that way. I have urged caution in unifying religion into secular politics. You then set up a different standard and harm the church if hypocrisy enters.

it would be much more Christian

Trump isn't running on a piety platform. And let's get it straight, Trump was referring to the incurable nature of the pathology. It is the Cruz crowd that keeps using the term 'child molester' - this is the real smear usage of the term, if you catch my drift.

Not only that, The Cruz campaign made contacts to the field about Carson long after they knew that the information they were spreading was a lie... just check Breitbart, he has audio proof.

This Carter stuff is becoming part of a litany of half truths, worthless over-statements and outright lies.

Trump is a lot more convincing than Cruz. That’s how it goes. Cruz can’t take the south from Trump unless he wants to start getting serious on the border. It sounds like Ted has some border problems of his own, him and Rubio are in the same boat.

The Kochs gave money to Cruz, Rubio, Bush. Now someone tell me again that Teds an outsider!

“Sen. Cruzs presidential campaign received more money — $30,200 — from known members of the Koch brothers political network than any other candidate, according to an analysis by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) of Federal Election Commission (FEC) reports.

Trump loves to heap praise on liberal dems and RINOs, loves to brag how he’d be able to make ‘deals’ with them.

He and they know it is true, he is of like mind with them.

We can’t afford the risk.

Liberals have a great track record in knowing who they can make ‘deals’ with and who they can’t.

And deals with liberals always mean the advancement of their agenda and the suppression of conservatism and common sense.

They know they can strike deals with Trump, but not with Cruz.

Trump himself has admitted such.

“And if Trump can not win convincingly in the North or Midwest he won’t do any better in the south.”

The South votes first.

I’m in St. Petersburg, the home of Charlie Crist. :-)

I donated money to Rubio and went to see him speak several times. He was very adamant about no amnesty, then flipped before he even got settled in in Washington. No thanks.
