It is NOT a question of whom we like better, frozen Canadians or sweaty Saudi’s. My problem is from legal point of view, if the Canadian is eligible, so is the Saudi.
And there are many Billionaires in middle-east, India, China, Africa, S. America who ALL become eligible to run as POTUS, if Cruz is ruled eligible by US courts.
In times past, the natural born citizen requirement for POTUS eligibility would have saved US from the unconstitutional obama and all of the offenses the usurper and company have committed since assuming office.
In this election, this time it's the self-proclaimed constitooshunalist conservatives who agree(!) with the usurpers.
They are voting, not to restore that three-key lock, but rather to remove it once and for all in favor of the one-key version used for obama's fundamental remodel of the Constitooshun.
Regarding the obama remodel, I've agreed "to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic" and that seems to apply here once again with the Canadian born to a foreign father Cruz.
Why these Constitooshunalist conservatives want to choose obama's lowest standard to replace what the FFs gave US is beyond my understanding, especially when the FFs' highest possible standard, "born in country to citizen parents", has been decided and accepted as intended numerous times in court.
What reasons or motives would let "conservatives" rationalize promoting obama's lowest possible standard in spite of all that argues against it and them?
Who might such critters be?
Remember, the relevant standard is, entitled to US citizenship by birth, lived in the US for fourteen years, has attained the age of 35.
Winston Churchill satisfied the first and third requirements: his momma was American, having been born in Brooklyn, and, by the time things got hot, he was over 35. But he had always been an Englishman in his own mind, just as Cruz has always been an American.
