When I was in college we had to read it alright. But we picked that thing apart for all it’s idiocy. The professor led the way. Of course this was in Fairbanks.

I was in H.S. in Chicagoland in the 70’s, and checked it out of the school library out of curiosity. No one had ever checked it out before. The card was blank, and the hardcover book had never been opened up beyond its cover. I figured in order to be against something, you had to understand it first. Not many must have shared that same opinion.

When I was in high school (1966) I took a Russian History class and we read it too. Made us appreciate America that much more.

I agree, while in college we read it as well but to pick it apart. Of course I went to a small private Christian college in the deep south... But hey, if you don’t know what it says it is hard to argue with the idiots. Same reason I have read the mussies book.

That's the way I was taught it back in the 70s along with Plato's Republic. Times have changed.
