And your "branding" plan has absolutely zero chance of happening. Feel free at any time to join the real world.

Stopping illegal immigration only takes two steps, and relatively little extra money.

1. Make e-verify mandatory for all employees. The system already exists, extra funding would be required to adjudicate appeals.

2. Let ICE and CIS do workplace enforcements. Heavy jail terms, fines, and seizures should be levied against businesses that hire illegals. I'm Those agents already work for the government. Let them do their jobs.

Those two things and repealing the illegal executive orders on Dreamers will stop the influx of illegals. It will begin the self removals of those already here. Seizures of property and money of illegals that get caught can pay for some of the costs of the programs.

No need for branding irons and the obvious Eighth Amendment issues.

“And your “branding” plan has absolutely zero chance of happening.”

Six months ago, Trump running for prez as a Pubby looked equally impossible. One of the reasons the Stupid Party always loses is that they never ask for enough.

Winfield Scott branded the San Patricios as an act of mercy. We should brand illegal aliens as an act of kindness to our grandchildren.

“Make e-verify mandatory for all employees.”

What man hath wrought, man can hack.

All that would do is spawn a new business for organized crime and promote increased corruption among the bureaucrats.
