They’ll find a way somehow. Once Erdogan goes, the next one will do whatever it takes to appease Russia.

The way things are looking in Europe, there may even be a regional war there, which could tip Turkey to leave NATO and join Russia. Who knows?

We may be gone before that even happens.

Historically Russia and Turkey have been enemies. It has been every Tsars dream since Peter the Great to control the Bosphorus and the Dardenelles.
