It was the unconstitutional spending which gave us this crushing $19 Trillion debt.

How do we go about downsizing the federal government to its constitutional limits?

We stop the unconstitutional and frivolous spending one can read about all over the internet.

One must deprive the government of the power to inflate the money supply with a return to the gold standard and institute a 100% metallic reserve banking system. This will provide maximum monetary stability and free the money and banking system of government interference.

I’m afraid the tally is off by ~ $100T+

One of the simplest ways to correct: Kill property/incomes taxes, return to a service oriented economy and send a bill to EACH and EVERY Citizen for their ‘fair share’.

You have kids - pay for schooling/buses/books/etc.
You want fire/police/EMT - you pay the monthly ‘insurance’ charge.
You think welfare/etc. are needed? - donate as you see fit.

Once people see the COST of govt, you’ll be d@mn skippy they’ll start to clamor for the REDUCTION of govt.

It’s why something like the ‘Fair Tax’ will never be implemented: people are given the POWER to choose, and the info. to see how much/where for taxes.

Lotto/smoking/games/TV/phone more important than XYZ, nobody in govt is going to force neighbors to be the unwilling economic slave.
