New York-based Extra Mile Casting sent an email last Friday to its client list of background actors, seeking extras to beef up attendance at Trump's event.
"We are looking to cast people for the event to wear t-shirts and carry signs and help cheer him in support of his announcement," reads the June 12 email, obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.
"We understand this is not a traditional 'background job,' but we believe acting comes in all forms and this is inclusive of that school of thought." (Read the full email at the bottom of the post.
The pay was listed as $50 for less than three hours of work. According to the email, Extra Mile was reaching out to potential extras in partnership with Gotham Government Relations and Communications, a New York-Based political consulting group that has worked with Trump in the past. Gotham GR had no comment.
“And donât doubt he didnât buy Palin, Breitbart, Drudge... thatâs the point”
Are you familiar with the phrase “disordered thinking”? You have no idea who, if anyone Trump has “bought”. Your “argument” suggests Palin, Breitbart & Drudge are A) for sale & B) Incapable of picking who they may or may not wish to support on their own.
Have a nice day! Go Trump!!!
You dont know if it’s true but the story “is out there”. And your tagline brags about being a Christian. Wow.
In a political world where everyone wants “grass roots campaigns, this is referred to as “Astroturfing.”
Each can be mutual exclusive...Did I lie or present something false?
I know it might be difficult to think this though logically, since your brain is stuck on Trump...
But the story is out there in the media, it seems to be a planted story, probably is false...
How does that in any way reflect poorly my Christian walk...?
National Review doesn’t need to be paid off. They really don’t like the guy.
Donald Trump: Leader, Fighter, Winner. America First! The man for the job. President of the United States, Donald Trump. Get used to it.
Please. It’s just silly and shows the utter desperation of the Cruzers and GOPe-ers. To insult hundreds of thousands of people who attended Trump rallies, unfortunately, is par for the course.
Me neither. I was there and nobody paid me a dime. I paid my own way on everything, driving, parking, food and drink afterward. I just wanted to see the man and hear what he had to say in person, from his own mouth, not filtered (distorted) by the media or anyone else.
Wish I’d known you were going! Would like to meet you before I leave OH.
Total bullsh*t. Some idiot on the Internet posts something as ridiculous as this and you’re feeble minded enough and gullible enough to post it on FR.
This is what liberals do!
Trump just rents them, the Dhims OWN them!
The slanted reporting and propaganda in this piece are evident, and right now you will be wondering why I don’t document them. The reason is I’m too busy working for Trump, an imperfect candidate, but still the best candidate for what this country needs now.
Why don’t you regular haters spend your energy PROMOTING your candidate with useful, reliable information instead of trolling FR and wasting bandwidth with gutter gossip, half-baked likes from dubious sources (Hollywood reporter and the NYT re a 2013 CPAC during which Trump wasn’t running for anything) and give the rest of the FR community a break from the constant negativity?
You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
“Angelo Carusone, the executive vice president for Media Matters, penned an article for Medium.com in which he accused Trump of hiring fake fans. He cited as evidence anonymous sources and a now-deleted Instagram post that appears to show an actor attending the event. Carusone runs an online campaign called âDump Trumpâ and has tangled with Trump before: The mogul once threatened a $25 million lawsuit after Carusone lobbied Macyâs to drop Trump products.”
You’re using Media Matters for your source? And they have as evidence a deleted Instagram post? And then cite other so called evidence from the Twitter posts from the slob who wouldn’t shovel his driveway, which Conservative Treehouse clearly disproves? You and your blog have lost all credibility. I’m surprised Jim hasn’t pulled your post, as it doesn’t reflect well on FreeRepublic.
