Several YEARS of food for each person?
I have done well with the list and much more.
Your basic plan is Not for as long a time as I believe I will have to take care of myself...
We will all need LUCK as well as planning, or is it LUCK because of our planning?
I only needed 69.
The skills needed to produce food by growing it or hunting it will be essential no matter how much dried goods you have. There will be no store bought jar lids for canning, probably no power after awhile. That means learning primitive drying techniques, fermenting processes and how to preserve root crops by burying them. I would reccomend salt and lots of it. Virtually any foodstuff can be preserved by salting. However, I haven’t been able to find loose salt without additives like we used to buy in fifty pound bags. Does anyone know where it can be bought?
Like Pickling Salt or Kosher Salt?
Whole Foods sells both last I checked as do several natural food retailers online.
No.1- for life- Do the next right thing- no matter what.
No.2 - keep at no.1- no matter what.
God will fill you in, on the rest of the story.
Can anyone post the death zones for me?
Am unable to get to them.
I don’t know how to post pics or screen captures here.

Some of these things are not like the others ... the only way the oligarchy prevents their comeuppance is with a flase flag so grievous that little bathhouse barry bastard boy declares the governmental processes suspended and he rules with military power over the nation. AND NEVER doubt that democrats are like Islamic jihadis in that they will gladly sacrifice millions to achieve their agenda of absolute rule over the entire globe. They have proven it with more than fifty millions alive unborn humans scarificed on their pagan altar abortuaries.
PING!
I saw this...interesting. Simple straightforward steps but not complete enough for my area and plans.
How are you doing on preparing?
I am about as ready as can be done...
I never thought of looking for a Doctor who would prescribe antibiotics for a Prepper pack. Fish products don’t seem to appeal to me.
Unless you know your antibiotics and what to use and and for what infections ... but Fish antibiotics are perfectly useable. Have bought and used the Keflex for years for dental problems.
That was ridiculous.
If the situation in the country gets that bad
no one will be surviving.
Just don’t go to Doctors or have any drugs. Not even an aspirin. It is crazy to be so old and so darn healthy. My friends spend all their time going to them and worrying about all the test results...NOT ME!
I need glasses for reading now. ( pair and a spare) The man doing the exam several years ago said my eyes were so clear I would not have to think about cataracts until I was over 70. I said “ That is good to know...especially since I am well past 70 already”... He had to look at the chart to believe me! I had a physical required for a job in the 1970’s. Isn’t that good enough? LOL
I am NOT complaining!
My first aid skills are very good, that will have to do, I guess.
You’ve earned those braggin’ rights, m’Lady.
I can not agree. I plan one meal per day...and snack. I am alone but pack for 4, so I can share or eat well for 2 days without refrigeration.
It is not hard to plan ahead and rotate canned goods and dried products. After about 2 years I will have to break out the 25 year foods and get serious about the gardening.
Yes, pasta meals will be boring, but creative baking and fresh fruits in season will help break up the boredom.
Plant right away...carrots and lettuce can be grown right along the house in the other foliage and be less obvious than a raised garden. Seeds are cheap and keep well. Get a book on edible plants too.
That’s good. I’m nowhere near ready. I have stuff that would get me through a major winter storm so far, but that’s about it.
You do realize that if the world didn’t have so many evil people, we wouldn’t have to worry about this crap.
Always believe in having a well stocked locker liquor....hiccup !
I cared for and made all those trip to doctors for my husband for 15 years or more and after he died..19 years this fall...I said NOT for me.
He is at Arlington cemetery and I am still not ready to join him!
Today I mowed the lawn and took food to some folks without means to purchase it. I am enjoying life and LIVING it to the end.
