Doesn't a gun purchase background check disproportionately affect poor and minorities who supposedly dont even have an ID to vote? How are they suppose to buy a gun if they can't even produce an ID to vote?
Here’s an idea.
Pass a law that requires to same ID requirements to vote as to purchase a weapon.
Want a week cooling off period to buy a weapon? then you must require a week cooling off period to vote!
Want an extensive background check performed on someone before they can purchase a weapon? Then you must require an extensive background check be performed on someone before they are allowed to vote!
Want to exclude mentally ill people from buying a weapon? great, then you must exclude mentally ill people from voting!
Want to require people to be 25 to buy a weapon, great. Then they are required to be 25 to vote!
Want to require a person to be personally present to buy a weapon? Great, then require them to be personally present to vote!
I could go on and on!
