I strongly disagree. Hillary Clinton will be easy to destroy in the general, especially by someone who is so much smarter than she is, is not cowed by political correctness, has such command of the facts of her disgraceful history, and can articulate the case for core American values like nobody else can.
I don't think Hillary will stand a chance against Cruz in the general. She will be shrill, and her anxiety level will come through as she finds herself carved up like a Thanksgiving turkey.
Can you say: "Homina, homina, homina"? Hillary can, and will.
“He said then the American people can decide what they want done with the rest. These are the ones Trump wants to deport then expedite back into the country.”
“The American people can decide”?
How is that workable?
Trump specifies those that are allowed back in are the ones that actually help the nation, not just themselves. The ones allowed back in will be legal and have “papers’ which is the way it use to be done here, and still is everywhere else.
Trump wants to "expedite" them back in. Normally it takes 5 to 10 years waiting in the quota line to get a green card.
Expediting them back in is quota line jumping, it's a legalization amnesty and it would be a disaster.
“Expediting them back in is quota line jumping, it’s a legalization amnesty and it would be a disaster.”
That statement is, of course, crap, but for the sake of argument, how does it differ from what Cruz advocates, as you mentioned in your first post?

In Cruz's plan he says about deportations, that we should fully enforce the laws.
“..empty throw away response.”
You must be referring to your sentence.
“In Cruz’s plan he says about deportations, that we should fully enforce the laws.”
What does “in Cruz’s plan he says about deportations” mean?
Cruz has avoided calling for deportation; he wants a “conversation” instead, which means amnesty.
Trump has no problems calling for deportation.
Did you even bother to look?

Here comes Cruz!
“Did you even bother to look?”
Don’t have time to check up on everything, not my job. I was listening to Hannity a few days ago; Jamie Dupree, whose job it is, mentioned that Cruz has NOT come out for deportation; Hannity did not object.
If you don't have time to check up on everything, then at least take the time to know what you are talking about.

Seriously. You are sounding like a low information type.
His plan is about "fully enforcing the law...through deportations and returns". Those are his words in the plan. His entire plan supports those words.
I gave you the link.

great post ... seen our friend lately ?
I think he may have ridden off into the sunset.:):)
It's a long time till the general election. At some point, polls show challengers beating the party in power by a wide margin. Then things start to get closer and maybe go the other way. If they didn't we'd have had President Dukakis and a few others we didn't get.
Not sure I buy the Ted Cruz Star Debater scenario. If he gets carried away in the debate it could create sympathy for Clinton. What some people take for his "eviscerating" her in the debates could provide her with a lot of material to hammer him with in ads.
