REMEMBER MISSISSIPPI? – Jeb / Rubio Donors Pledge Support To Kasich “Tear Down Trump” Campaign
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | Nov. 23, 2015 | Sundance

Posted on 11/23/2015 3:07:36 PM PST by SatinDoll

The ground effort to destroy Donald Trump begins today in Ohio where several GOPe operatives and advance teams have been positioned to drum up antagonistic protesters and coordinate activity aimed to target Trump.

In addition Matt David, the spokesperson for the Kasich Super-PAC “New Day for America”, is now publicly reporting that both Team [Jeb] Bush and Team Rubio donors have pledged financial support to the effort to tear down front runner Donald Trump.

The upper echelons within the Wall Street financially-dependent corporate media have also held their meeting to coordinate how they will distribute and promote the anti-Trump narrative.

Most of the self-interests within the republican side of the professional political establishment have now united: Wall Street (financiers), Ground Troops (via campaign teams), and Corporate Media (messaging/optics).

Tonight, as incredulous as it sounds, Professional Republicans begin a full month long assault upon the front runner of their own party.

What the GOPe did to candidate Chris McDaniel in in Mississippi during the 2014 primary will pale in comparison to the nuclear assault the GOPe begins waging today.

You may well remember in Mississippi the Republican GOPe operatives (with full support of Senate GOPe leadership) ran racist attack ads against Chris McDaniel after he beat sitting senator Thad Cochran. McDaniel beat Cochran in the primary but did not win the needed 50% +1, so a second runoff primary was needed.

Unfortunately it was an “open primary” meaning Democrats and Republicans could vote and there was only one ballot. In the second primary the GOPe paid Mississippi Democrats to cross-over and vote for “their guy”. This resulted in Chris McDaniel winning the Republican vote, but losing the primary because thousands of paid, mostly black, Democrats voted for Thad Cochran. McDaniel actually won the Republican/Conservative vote, in a Republican primary – but lost the election.

Republican Party Leadership rejoiced at their victory.

It should be noted who else joined in those 2014 celebrations: Ann Coulter thought it was wonderful when Mitch McConnell pulled off the scheme. Tucker Carlson, the Daily Caller, NRO, and all the same “right-leaning” media groups now supporting Bush and Rubio etc.

The Republican plan, now including the campaigns of Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio, to destroy the candidacy of Donald Trump – is based on the same approach previously noted in Mississippi 2014.

Like Chris McDaniel, Donald Trump must be removed.

Once the GOPe achieve their goal: Ben Carson becomes Herman Cain, Ted Cruz becomes Newt Gingrich, and Bush/Rubio relax and enjoy their role as Mitt Romney circa 2012.

The goal remains as it always was to generate this outcome: Clinton vs. Bush

THIS IS THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE AND ALLOWABLE GOP RESULT!

IMO, the GOPee has decided that the only way to place a RINO like Jeb into the white house is to goad Trump into a 3rd party run.

If Trump runs 3rd party then none of the three candidates will get enough electoral votes to win outright.

The election will go to the house where the selection will be for the RINO even if Trump got the most electoral votes.

Trump needs to continue running for the republican nomination but if they start this war on him he should hit back 10x.

He can both run for the repub nomination and at the same time wage a war against the GOPee. Equate them to the dems.. indeed he should say they represent a single political entity. Dem/GOPee

IMO it’s perfectly acceptable for Trump to try to destroy the GOP while running to be its nominee.... the people will understand what he is doing.

Trump should do NO MORE DEBATES until the general!

He should appear on another network at the same time as the debate and make wisecracks aimed at the GOPee.

That is a good question!

Kasich isn’t really running for President. He is just a part of the GOPe that doesn’t want their filthy lucre oozing from Wahsington, D.C. to stop. Since he is unpopular in Ohio he isn’t running for Governor again, so perhaps he has been promised a position in a GOPe run government; I don’t really know.

Will it backfire on them? I certainly hope so!

Trump seems to have attracted huge numbers of people who are Independents and dissatisfied Democrats as well as Republicans. The GOPe has panicked and, I believe, made a serious mistake tactical mistake.

Hope so.

It’s uncanny how I read this right after listening to a local conservative talk radio host bemoaning Trump as having “Negatives too high” to win the general. In poll after poll, Trump beats Hillary, but if there’s a single poll or think tank that supports the idea that Hillary is Trump-proof, that’s all we’ll hear about.

The take down of Trump by the GOPe is not a new effort, but it’s about to go in high gear and they are making it public.

So far it’s been like watching Charlie Brown trying to kick the Football that Trump snatches away, time after time. I hope it stays that way.

Will it backfire on them? I certainly hope so! It will.

It's the GOP-e's last desperate try. And it won't work. It will a.) merely harden the resolve of Trump's supporters (and Cruz's supporters as well because, should it work, he would be next) and b.) Bush and Rubio will never be forgiven for this backstabbing ploy.

They'll lose, too.

After this effort, the GOP-e will be a spent force. And, while they nurse their resentment, likely of little or no help in the general, as well.

Sen. Ted Cruz is supported by Wall Street financiers, specifically by Robert Mercer, the Hedge-fund billionaire.

Ted Cruz has held the positions he presently holds long before he received a dime for anyone for anything. His record is an open book. High school, college, law school, ALWAYS the conservative, even where it wasn't popular. You can get through these places and remain conservative, ask Justices and Thomas and Scalia.

This is disgusting. Instead of showing unity for their party, they attack the GOP front runner but not Hillary and the mess that B. Obama has made.

I guess you don’t understand that Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are the ONLY constitutional conservative anti-GOPe candidates in the Republican primary? They are engaged in a WAR with the RINOs and their ‘RAT partners in the Washington cartel. You (and others) are only helping the GOPe when you wage jihad on either Cruz or Trump. That’s IMHO, of course.

If they succeed, all they have done is to sign the death warrant of the GOP.
