It wasn’t just Muslims celebrating 9/11.
It was Mexico City celebrating 9/11.
My parents had always spent January-February in Mexico at a resort (Puerto Vallarta). After seeing the activities in Mexico City, my parents no longer went to Mexico for vacations.
Trump is getting big coverage / heat over saying 9/11 was celebrated by Muslims in New Jersey.

There were celebrations in muslim communities pretty much everywhere.
