Marshall Tito of Yugoslavia - whom even the Russians at the end of WW2 with their 6 million man army didn’t want to mess with - was the main partisan leader there during the war. He was once asked how his men, armed mainly with old rifles, would take on the Germans and their new Panzers. His response was enlightening: “When the Germans get out of their new Panzers to take a piss, my men will shoot them with their old rifles.”

Tactical genius - never fight your enemy where he is strongest, but where YOU are. Also, strategic genius - this forced the Germans to have concentrated forces, so that they could protect each other, leaving large portions of the country unoccupied by them and a pretty much open space for Tito and his supporters.

MRAPs are devastating against poorly armed people with only small arms, if the MRAPs get in the first lick. Against RPGs, or even Molotov Cocktails with the attackers getting in the first lick...eh, not so much.
