Islam has always been a religion of war, conquest and slavery.
Islam has been at war with everyone else since 622 A.D.
It must remain so, according to their book, until all have submitted to Allah, are converted or are killed.
The US at its founding was in an economic war with Islam (ransom paid to Barbary pirates in the 1790’s), and the US has returned to the status of being in an economic war with Islam (since the oil crisis of 1973).
What turned things around was Jefferson ending the Marines to Libya in the early 1800’s. “Not a penny for tribute” was his motto. Now, energy independence is in the process of being achieved, and once again a force of Islam (Saudi Arabia) is reacting against us (by flooding oil markets).
