Best example of cold anger is gun and ammunition sales figures.

One additional thing on top of your already absolutely correct post is that, in Virginia, meddling Michael Bloomberg and the gun grabbers spent huge chunks of $$$$$ to buy the VA State Senate and the voters said a massive NO!

Cold anger may not remain cold forever.

Outstanding. And then there's this:

Beyond anger lies fury, the heedless ungovernable rage of the berserker, and beyond that again, a long, long step beyond the boundary of madness, lies the region of cold and utterly uncaring indifference. When a man enters that region, as few ever do, he is no longer himself, he is a man beside himself, a man without all his normal codes and standards of feeling and thought and emotions, a man for whom words like fear and danger and suffering and exhaustion are words that belong to another world and whose meaning he can no longer comprehend. It is a state characterized by an abnormally heightened clarity of mind, by a hyper-sensitive perception of where danger lies, by a total and unhuman disregard for that danger. It is, above all, a state characterised by an utter implacability.
-- Alistair MacLean, South By Java Head page 234

Hell's coming. As for me, I'm too old to give a damn about the odds anymore.

Cold?

I’m really not so sure. Not anymore. Not after this continuing mess in Congress.

Rope, necks, tree limb. (Some assembly required.)

I like it! Good job and man, if we could only get #2 done, I’d be thrilled. This gender nonsense is just the height of stupidity and ignorance.

I actually stopped posting here for awhile because I just cant get this conservative anger stuff.

Really folks, where do you live? How is it that your lives are so affected by any action of the government other than raising taxes that it becomes cold anger?

Hate to say it, and being a boomer myself, but all this “cold anger” seems to me to be simply the last gasp of the bunch of spoiled brats that as a generation we all are.

Honestly, is there anyone outside of the institutionalized or imprisoned that actually has the fools in government affect their daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or longer lives?

And is so why? Get a life, move..

I am so sick of folks that call themselves Conservative, as being indistinguishable from the whinny libs in their “anger”.

I don't want to hear about it, I want to hear about what and how you are going to fix whatever angers you. To me that is what distinguishes a conservative from a lib.

“...The clear message tonight is that people want more Republicans in the Mississippi House of Representatives...”

Well there’s a clear indication of a tin-ear! Folks don’t care so much that you are a republican as much as they care that you are willing to work *darned* hard to fix everything broken by the dem lib-prog agenda.

Boehner & McConnell are republicans. An “R” ain’t no sort of guarantee anymore.

This term, ‘cold anger’. I think it will catch on.

People do channel insults into energy against the taunters. When they learn to do that, they transform inside. It’s such a transforming emotion that societies belittle it.

Cracked the code and think this is a useful phrase.
