The Wizards of Smart inside the Beltway firmly believe that they have to control the political culture and outsiders who disturb the consensus (whatever the consensus is it is right because the political class say it is) have to be either co-opted, marginalized , intimidated or if necessary eliminated. Some sort of George Wallace treatment is coming the Donald's way.

I do too. After seeing 17% of that poll for Cruz, 40% who say the debate he said he won it. And seems to be running excellent campaign. Like his senate campaign, going to rip it open at the right time. Never has a candidate been this close a match for want I want.
Rubio has no chance. None of them do except Trump, unless something happens to him (God forbid).

I think so too. It appears Rubio will be the GOPe favorite guy but I don’t think that will make as much difference as it usually does this time.
Excellent points. Im a Trump supporter but I evolved to this position over time. There are things I like about almost all of the candidates but I think Trump may be the only one to be able to raise HELL in DC. As to Rubio...if he is the nom I’ll vote for him. He is popular almost everywhere except on FR LOL.
It is doubtful that Marco Rubio could carry his home state. There is a reason he’s not running for re-election and it’s not because the lazy so and so is “bored” with the Senate. (He probably couldn’t win.) So it is precise for you to say “almost” everywhere. It is interesting that it is in his home state where his support is the weakest.
We know him well here in Florida. To know Marco is to dislike him. I hope everyone across the country gets to know the lying, money grubbing, backstabbing, amnesty loving, bought and paid for puppet on a string, little commie weasel, just as well as we in Florida do.
There is no way I would ever vote for the sneaky, slithering, snake for any position.
