I have no intention of abandoning Britain if God forbid it becomes Sweden.

Effectively you are disarmed as you don’t have the overwhelming numbers of weapons necessary to dissuade the govt. nor the modern weapons to compete. You don’t have private militias which are a deterrent to govt tyranny. In the US we have over 300 million sophisticated semi automatic weapons in private hands and we don’t have registration. You do and the govt can come pick them up any time and they know exactly what door to kick in.

Europe is committing suicide and will likely not survive. Its sad to watch.

Abandoning his nation, instead of staying and FIGHTING to keep it.

Great soundbite, but not realistic in today's world.

I am an American citizen, now living in Davao City, Davao del sur province, Republic of Philippines. I have been here almost three years. I came here for several reasons, among them financial (But, not limited to finances).

America is not the same as my early days. I was born in 1947 in NC. My dad was career Navy and I have lived from California to Cuba (Gitmo, 1960-1963). I graduated early from high school, and joined the US Navy reserves so I wouldn't have to wade through the rice paddies of VietNam. After I got out, I went to college and got married. I have four grown children and none grandchildren.

I live here in a rented house ($120.month). I have satellite TV, high speed internet, and all the conveniences of life in the states. Davao is a city of a couple of million people. It is rated as one of the safest places in the world. We also have one of the best water systems in the world.

I left America to live a better life. With ever-increasing costs, my retirement income meets my needs here much better. I live on less than a grand per month. We eat well. I had ribeye steaks on my Weber gas grill yesterday, and today plan to have some fried chicken from my wife's kitchen. She is a Filipina, and a really good cook. She has learned what I like to eat, and varies my daily diet to keep it interesting. I don't eat much rice, but she eats it three times per day.

I don't plan to return. I have a Mac, and my kids have iPhones and iPads (I also have an iPad4, but wifi uses that to post on Facebook, and search recipes. She loves to bake. I love to eat!!!). I get to videochat with my family any time I want.

Prior to coming here, I lived at the Armed Forces Retirement Homes in Gulfport, MS, and Wash, DC. I hated them. They are full of old people. Really old. I am only just now 68. I plan to see 100 or more, as my family has lots of longevity. If I don't, oh well. To live is Chtist, to die is gain (Phil 1;21). I had to get out of there.

Sometimes, it just makes sense to change locations. America is long past it's rome. I wish otherwise, but see the handwriting on the wall. It will not recover in my lifetime, if ever. It has gone from a country of freedom, to one of invaders demanding my pension. It offers little to us old folks, except the chance to pay for all of that!

I didn't abandon America. America abandoned me (and so many like me!!!)!

Well this guy is like the Yankees from NY who move down here to GA and then vote to try to turn GA into the same chithole they just left. That’s because about forty years ago, the Leftists screamed the world was overpopulated - oddly ONLY the Western part of the world was told this.

So Westerners freaked and started having less children.

Now another generation of Leftists are telling us, that because there’s not enough of us, we MUST import MILLIONS of angry Muslims and African savages to fill our workforce because WE haven’t bred enough.

It’s all been a plan, beginning 40 years ago....and now their desired result Ethnic Population Replacement and if not stopped in 50 years WE’LL be a minority in what once historically we’re OUR homelands.
