I want a conservative president. Trump's a pretty good guy - funny on Howard Stern or the WWE, but basically a reality television character. I like him tossing eggs at the liberal sacred cows, but at heart, he's a big government populist who brags about his own role in the buying and selling of politicians.

With the Democratic Party about to nominate an incompetent undeniably corrupt drunk, it's the best opportunity in generations to get a real conservative into office. Instead, we're going to go with this Trump guy, simply because he tosses out great quips. If we do, it's a colossal blown opportunity.

I dunno. If he sticks to his rhetoric, I could live with a Trump Presidency. His rhetoric is pretty aligned with my beliefs.

I just hope he's not playing a foolie on us all.

“Trump’s a pretty good guy - funny on Howard Stern or the WWE”

Fact that he goes on this things are disqualifiers to me.

Having listened or watched either of those things should disqualify anyone from voting.

But Trump has done more than just made quips and has moved things forward in a way no other candidate or politician has or can.

This is unique.

So who is this great conservative you want to elect? Where is he hiding? Bring him out! Until he surfaces I’m going with Trump. He is a proven success as a businessman and negotiator, he has chutzpah and he tells it like it is. Did I mention he loves America and our servicemen? Did I mention he actually goes out of his way to help people when he’s not on camera or running for election? Did I mention the part where he doesn’t need to suck up to the Koch brothers like a man I thought might be a real conservative until he voted to surrender our Sovereignty with the TPA and up the immigration quotas for big business to get cheap H1 labor?
I’m for Trump because we need a tiger in our corner and I don’t care if he was once a democrat, doesn’t agree with every conservative point, or paid to play with both parties in his business career.
I’m for Trump because he is committed to making America strong again and as a pragmatist I believe he can make it happen.

Then get one that can fight the damn press, because people are not interested in losing with a candidate that doesn’t cause squeamish conservatives to blush because he does what we supposedly have been begging for.

>>but basically a reality television character.

Trump existed as a successful businessman long before reality TV. Don’t buy into the GOProgressive meme that he’s a “reality star-turned-businessman”. Believing their lies destroys your credibility.
