As if on cue the Salem Media machine starts singing the praises of Representative Paul Ryan for Speaker of the House. ~ GOOD TIME TO REMEMBER THIS ~

No-one needed any further evidence of how insufferably corrupt the progressive republican party has become; however, today is a brutal reminder of just how much the GOPe absolutely despise the base of their own party.
There were three names available for the secret ballot to take place in congress, Kevin McCarthy, Jason Chaffetz and Daniel Webster. While each of the aforementioned names carry both pros and cons, an objective person would have to ask why, if only one name is withdrawn (McCarthy), the House Leadership wouldn’t continue with the secret ballot with the two remaining names.
The decision to stop the vote is yet another blast of sunlight to evidence of what almost every Republican Conservative is now fully aware. Namely the progressive GOPe will not allow a leadership election to take place without “their chosen progressive” as the ultimate winning nominee. The uniparty has a strong grip.

I heard Mark Steyn (filling in for Rush) describe the procedure as one from a “banana republic.” He was rather adamant that it was an example of what is wrong with the current leadership. He said that John Boehner unilaterally cancelled the election (of who the caucus would support) instead of proceeding with the election. After reflecting, I think he was correct. This article reflects that the game is still “gamed.”

P.S. I now think that since the Motion to Vacate the Chair is a preference item which takes all priority, Rep. Meadows should call the question to get rid of Boehner before he gives in on the budget, debt ceiling, ex-im bank, and other “must” legislation. No Speaker means no action by House.
Bring it on. Better no movement than movement in the wrong direction.

Is she a member of the Freedom Caucus or one of the 35 who support Mark Meadows for Speaker......I think not.
95 percent of them (247 Republicans) or more hung by Boehner through thick and thin and still do unless they choose to stand up and try to take him out now.
We need a rich person who can’t be bought like Rush Limbaugh as Speaker, for example.
Or someone who is anti-corruption and anti-cronyism like Sarah Palin.
