My question remains: Why issue 2,000 tickets if you don’t plan to let 2,000 people in?
Because when people get something for free they don’t hold their end of the bargain by showing up and leave empty seats. Get there early.
Also the media would have a field day if there were empty seats at a Trump event. Never mind that Jebbie Bush and Shrillary Clinton couldn’t fill a function room at a Hampton Inn. If Trump has 200 empty seats at a 2,000 seat auditorium, it will be trumpeted coast to coast.
I don’t blame Trump for overbooking these venues.
